TECHNIQUE

The proprietary 3D scalp micropigmentation technique

DR. BIMENDIN's unique approach combines medical precision with aesthetic results. Each session is structured to deliver the most natural, long-lasting outcome possible.

3D SMP Method™

A patented three-layer technique for correcting complete hair loss, creating a highly natural cropped-hair effect through the use of several pigment dot sizes and shades. The technique achieves high density without a tattoo-like effect and keeps the result looking natural for years.

Dot-Stroke Fusion™

A patented technique for working with scars after hair transplant surgery (FUE/FUT), thinning areas, and density between existing hair. The technique combines several micropigmentation types for the softest possible blend with the client's natural hair.

01

Low-quality pigments

Cheap materials fade unevenly and shift in tone over time. We use only certified medical-grade pigments.

02

Imprecise pigment depth

Inserting pigment too deep or too shallow blurs the follicular pattern. Our technique controls depth at every millimetre.

03

Ignoring skin tone and texture

Without accounting for elasticity and skin texture, results lose realism within 6-12 months.

04

No aftercare protocol

Improper post-procedure care critically affects the final outcome. We accompany every client through each stage of healing.

05

Unnatural hairline design

An incorrectly designed or asymmetrical hairline looks unnatural and requires costly correction.

06

Pigment colour shift over time

Cheap pigments can shift to unwanted reddish or greenish tones within 1-2 years after the procedure.

PROPRIETARY DEVELOPMENTS

Patented Techniques

Yerbol Bimendin is the author of two patented techniques developed specifically for scalp micropigmentation.

HOW IT WORKS

How the procedure works

  1. Online consultation

You send photos of the area - we show comparable cases, discuss the outcome and agree on the price.

  2. Booking

We pick a convenient date and city, and answer every question before your visit.

  3. First session

We design the hairline and confirm it with you, then work for 3-4 hours. No bleeding, no lengthy recovery.

  4. Second session

After 7-14 days we build the main layer and increase density. The result lasts 4-7 years.

  5. Guarantee

12 months of aftercare: if a touch-up is needed, we do it free of charge.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE SESSION

Procedure details

During the session

The client sits in a comfortable chair and can watch TV, watch a film, or simply relax - many people relax so much that they fall asleep during the procedure. The work is carried out in the upper layers of the skin using our proprietary technique, with virtually no discomfort and no bleeding. For clients with a low pain threshold, we use a numbing cream. The first procedure takes 3-4 hours on average, depending on the scope of work.

Healing after the first procedure

After the session we give detailed aftercare recommendations. There may be slight skin redness, which usually goes away within 1-2 hours - most clients return straight to their usual routine with no recovery period. During healing the immune system interacts with the pigment, and some dots may lighten slightly or partially fade - this is a normal stage of the skin adapting.

Second session

Carried out 7-14 days later, or later still, at the client's convenience. It forms the main micropigmentation layer, increases density and refines the result - the pigment finally stabilises in the skin. If needed, at this stage we increase density, make the result brighter, or adjust the hairline. This session also takes 3-4 hours on average.

12 months

RESULT GUARANTEE

12 months of aftercare after the procedure

We stay in touch with every client for a year after completing the course of procedures. If an additional correction is needed during this period - which happens very rarely - we carry it out free of charge.

Our goal is not just to perform the procedure, but to achieve a result the client will be happy with for years to come.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is SMP painful?

The procedure is performed in the upper layers of the skin using our own method and causes virtually no discomfort, with no bleeding. If a client has a low pain threshold, special numbing creams are used for extra comfort.

How many sessions are needed?

Usually 2 sessions are needed. For scar camouflage and for male or female alopecia, 2-3 sessions may be required depending on the complexity of the work. The interval between sessions is from 7 days, most often 7-14 days. The first session lays the foundation of the result, the second builds the main density layer, after which the pigment stabilises in the skin.

How long do SMP results last?

After the second procedure the pigment fully stabilises in the skin, and the result lasts on average 4 to 7 years, depending on individual body characteristics and the immune system. We support every client for 12 months after completing the course, and if a touch-up is needed during that period, it is done free of charge.

Are there any contraindications?

Individual contraindications depend on the client's skin condition and general health and are discussed at the online consultation: we review the client's photos and situation and assess whether the procedure is possible in your specific case.

Can SMP be done when hair is still present?

Yes. There is a dedicated service for this - micropigmentation between existing hair for density. Pigment is placed into the scalp between the hairs present, visually increasing density without changing hair length or style. A haircut is not required for this procedure.

Is any recovery needed after the procedure?

No special recovery is required. There may be slight skin redness, which usually goes away within 1-2 hours. Most clients return straight to work, meetings and their usual routine right after the procedure. We provide aftercare recommendations after every session.

Will SMP look natural?

Yes. Our proprietary 3D method creates the effect of closely shaved hair by using several sizes of pigment dots and different pigment shades, without a tattoo-like look. The hairline is designed individually, taking into account face shape, age and the client's wishes.

Can SMP be combined with a hair transplant?

Yes. We have dedicated services for this: micropigmentation after a hair transplant, to increase density and even out the result, and scar camouflage after a hair transplant (FUE/FUT), to conceal scars in the donor area. Both procedures are performed in 2 stages with an interval of at least 7 days.

Do I need a haircut before the procedure?

It depends on the service. For density between existing hair and for female alopecia, a haircut is not required. For full or partial baldness, if hair is preserved on the sides and back of the head, a short haircut may be needed for the most natural result.

How long does the procedure take?

Each session - the first and the second - takes on average 3-4 hours, depending on the amount of work.

Which cities do you see clients in?

At the moment we see clients in Almaty, Moscow and Los Angeles. We agree on a convenient city and visit date at the online consultation, after reviewing photos and discussing the expected result.

Is the result guaranteed?

Yes. After completing the course of procedures, we support every client for 12 months. If additional correction is needed during that period, which happens very rarely, we perform it free of charge.

How is SMP different from a tattoo or permanent makeup?

SMP is performed in the upper layers of the skin using our own method - it uses different pigments, a different placement depth and a different logic for building dot density than a tattoo or permanent makeup does. As a result, it avoids the blue tint and spreading typical of tattoo techniques, and over time it doesn't distort, continuing to look like natural short stubble.
